This book described twenty walks of various lengths and difficulties, from an easy walk in the North Island's Coromandel Forest Park to a strenuous alpine hike over the Copland Pass in the Southern Alps. Detailed routes are given with approximate times and the availability of huts, as well as access information for getting to and from each day's tramp.
