Your feet are killing me!

People often say 'Feet are Funny' and the author sets out to prove how right they are. Our overworked 'plates of meat' have led him into many quite hilarious situations and reading this book will not only do your feet some good, for it contains some useful advice, but it will also do your spirits good. The book traces the early career of the author from the training school to his first appointment as assistant to a chiropodist cum poultry farmer in the Rossendale Valley; then on to early days as an N.H.S. chiropodist. It is anecdotal in style and tells of the many colourful and amusing characters the author has met; and the adventures in which he has become involved. Chesterton said that any man who can't laugh at his feet has no sense of humour, the same can be said of anyone who does not have a hearty chuckle over the escapades of the chiropodist who was always putting his foot in it.
