Igor Stravinsky: An International Bibliography of Theses and Dissertations, 1925-2000 (DETROIT STUDIES IN MUSIC BIBLIOGRAPHY)

This volume presents bibliographical information on 668 doctoral dissertations, master's theses, and bachelor's essays on composer Igor Stravinsky. The volume includes both works that deal primarily with Stravinsky and others that, although pertaining to other 20th-century musical subjects, contain references to the composer. Following each bibliographical entry is an annotation which quotes, for the most part, the author's words. Heintze has been music librarian at American University since 1969. Annotation c.
