Male/Female Roles

There's little question that men and women are different and not only biologically. The big question is why are they different? Our genders distinctions caused by an eight physiological and psychological differences, or are they caused by social environment? Which deal of gender distinction is the true one? Many scientists would say none of these. How are sex roles established? Have women's roles changed for the better? Have none his roles chains for the better?
