This work traces all known descendants of the two early Hoyt immigrants: the first, John1 Hoyt (c1615-1688) of Salisbury, Mass., came from England in about 1640. The second, Simon1 Hoyt (1590-1657), settled in 1628 in Charlestown; later living in Dorchester and Scituate, Mass., and then in Windsor and Stamford, Conn. Much detail on early Hoyts in England is given, as is the ancestry of Simon1 Hoyt.
