Teilhard De Chardin (Way of the Christian Mystics)

Until recently, mystics were either misunderstood or simply not understood. But now we are coming tosee that in TS Eliot's words, the way of the mystics is "our only hope, or else despair." As the darkness deepens, and the lights go out, those ancient lights begin to appear and to show us a way forward. They are not only lights to guide us but are each a human countenance in which we can recognize something of ourselves - each is a portrait for self-recognition.
