Jack Oakie's Oakridge

Originally designed in the late 1930's for Barbara Stanwyck by famous African American architect Paul Williams, Oakridge was the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Oakie for more than fifty years. In this volume, Victoria Oakie reveals the history of that house (now on the California Register of Historic Places #484), its famous inhabitants, and the nostalgic times it stood for.
