This book has been transcribed verbatim from the original 180-page journal from the well-known Lutheran minister who preached in Lexington, Newberry, Orangeburg and Edgefield Districts. SC. It contains many baptisms, marriages, deaths, and burials, as well as the churches and other places where Drehr preached. Also listed are some occasional private communions administered to sick or elderly persons. This journal is a much-needed reference tool for persons with families in these counties.
