6th International Conference on the Conservation of Earthen Architecture: Adobe 90 Preprints

This two-volume publication of the proceedings of the sixth International Conference on the Conservation of Earthen Architecture, "Adobe 90," has over one hundred papers covering current work on the preservation of historic and cultural structures and sites. Topics include the history and traditions of the use of earth as a building material, seismic mitigation, clay chemistry and the microstructure of adobe, and stabilization and restoration of earthen structures.
