Hands On Base Ten Blocks (Book One Two and Three)

the activities here are designed for children in kindergarten through grade three. The primary focus is on the development of number skills in a problem- solving setting: showing numbers with blocks, finding alternate solutions, identifying patterns, testing and recording. As children handle the blocks counting them by hundreds, tens, and ones to find problem solutions, they will be building a mental image of the base ten number system.
