School and Home Program: Language Remediation and Expansion

This handbook presents a framework for developing a child's communication skills in a pragmatic manner - using the student's natural interests and environments as the stimuli, and calling upon the family to help model, teach and reinforce. Twelve units present varied ideas, activities and exercises utilizing life experience themes to help the student develop language skills. Phonology, morphology and syntax, cognition, production of language, and comprehension are thoroughly covered. Fits nicely into IEP's.
