Focus on Ability: Serving Girls With Special Needs

Materials to assist in blending girls with disabilities into a Girl Scout troop or group while allowing each girl to remain an individual with her unique strengths and weaknesses. Create opportunities to help the disabled meet their full potential while removing barriers that prevent them from participating in the mainstream of Girl Scouting. Create an awareness of the barriers people with disabilities experience. Girl Scouting or other group activities are open to all girls regardless of their diverse abilities and talents.
