Capitols of Texas: A Visual History

More than 100 photographs, drawings, etchings and paintings tell the story of different capital cities and Capitol buildings in which the government of Texas was located over the years. In the less than two years during which the Republic of Texas existed, the location of the seat of government changed eight times.
