History of Comanche County Oklahoma

This book is an attempt to allow all who wish, the opportunity of telling how events affected families, business and organizations in Comanche County, Oklahoma. Some remember their ancestors in their stories and others reflected on specific events or individual personalities. Guidelines for stories were broad as it was our desire to allow free expression. The researched history portion of the book up to World War II represents the first comprehensive study of the county history for publication purposes.
