What Price Freedom?

Starry eyed and joyfully embarking on a promising future, Peggy Brooke left her childhood home on the farm to marry an up-and-coming banking executive.

Suddenly, however, her husband's career plans unexpectedly changed direction. His search for the freedom of the outdoors brought her only restlessness and anxiety. At times her doubts and fears threatened to overwhelm her as she struggled to cope with raising a family while horse logging and truck driving in the mountains of Montana.

Then, Sammy, their third child, was born blind.

In the face of all these challenges Peggy developed a determination to follow Jesus on a difficult journey to real faith, leave her fears behind her, and boldly embrace life as an exciting adventure of trusting God.
