Rural Maine

Book by Silber, Mark. This is a book of black and white photographs of the people of Maine, in attempt to record the faces of Maineiacs. Some of the photographs first appeared in the July 1972 issue of Audience magazine. The photographer Mark Silber was born in 1956 in the Ukraine (USSR) and moved to Poland before coming to USA and receiving a degree from Harvard. The book was designed by Carol Schloss and 4,000 copies were printed. The photographs were reproduced by Foremost Lithographers in Providence, RI. the book was bound by A.
