Degenerate Art: The Fate of the Avant-Garde in Nazi Germany

This is a key work in the field of what was termed 'Degenerate Art' ('Entartete Kunst') by the Nazis. Particularly valuable for its reconstruction of the 'Entartete Kunst' Exhibition held in Munich in 1937 on the basis of existing photographs and documentation, and, to a certain extent, the touring of versions of this show to other major cities.
