Great Basin Kingdom Revisited

Excerpt from Introduction: "In 1987, the Charles Redd Center for Western Studies at Bringham Young University and the Mountain West Center for Western Studies at Utah State University independently began planning symposia commemorating the thirtieth anniversary of the publication of Leonard J. Arrington's Great Basin Kingdom: An Economic History of the Latter-day Saints. When this duplication became apparent, a decision was made to pool resources and mutually sponsor a single symposium at Utah State University the day before the opening of the Mormon History Association annual meeting in May 1988."
