The Birds of the Wetlands briefly describes one major wetland area on every continent in the world. It explains the complicated ecosystems which enable each of them to support, in their different ways, the huge breeding populations of herons, storks, ibises, spoonbills, anhingas, cormorants, smaller waders and birds of prey that live within them.
