These include painting a floor design, reverse stencilling and how to achieve a traditional aged look. All are shown in step-by-step photo sequences. A furniture chapter tells you how to recognize traditional construction techniques as well as how to use the furniture stylishly; the country table, the country seat, dresser cupboards and shelving.
