Proper Tea: An English Collection of Recipes and Anecdotes

This is a book which depicts the English tea in various guises, including teas for the drawing room, the nursery and the farmhouse kitchen, and a children's tea. It sets out the history and etiquette attached to each kind of meal and contains more than 50 straightforward recipes and 80 of the author's own watercolours. Joanna Isles has illustrated editions of two Oscar Wilde books, "The Selfish Giant" and "The Happy Prince".
