Power of the Hymeks

Drawing upon photographs from the author's own collection, supplemented by the work of other notable railway photographers of the period, he presets in some 230 mono illustrations, the history and operational record of the class. From main line express services through to the last days of the pick-up freight, the Hymeks proved themselves to be highly flexible in operation, a flexibility admirably demonstrated through the excellent range of photographs included in the book.
