1813. Caxton, one of the first printers, dedicated this book to Edward Prince of Wales, son of Edward IV and later briefly Edward V, whose governor was Anthony Woodville, Earl Rivers. Caxton says that he has done the translation under the shadow of his noble protection. Written in Olde English.
