The Frasers of Castle Fraser: A Scottish family in the nineteenth century

Lavinan Smiley has compiled this chronicle of a Scottish family in the nineteenth century from letters and papers left behind when the widowed Mrs. Mackenzie-Fraser sold Castle Fraser in 1921. The central figure is Colonel Charles Mackenzie-Fraser, who was severely wounded in the Peninsular War.
