The Sculpture of the Sanctuary of Athena Polias at Priene (Research Reports)

Carter uses the notebooks of the original excavators to construct a detailed stury of the Hellenistic temples' sculpture, now largely preserved in the British Museum. He analyses the material and advances suggestions for the original position of the relief sculpture. Also contains a fully illustrated catalogue.
