This work traces the development and operational history of some 50 aircraft types. It records detailed operating figures compiled during hundreds of thousands of miles flying, and examples of flight plans form a major part of the book. The book is a compendium of detailed operational performance, from the de Havilland Comets through to the Airbus 320s of 1993.
