This edition features 1000 more records than the 1997 release. The book features a new "Taking It To The Limit" section, which covers epic journeys including new balloon, ocean survival and Antarctica records, a new "Money" section, with features on private wealth and most valuable items and a "Media" section, with spreads on Hollywood stars. An "Environment and Nature" section has spreads on trees and environmental disasters.
