Psychology of Architectural Design

Our present knowledge of the design process is anecdotal and based either on introspection or on transfer of results obtained in other fields. New technologies and new attitudes in society demand that the proactice of architecture become more comprehensive, precise and efficient. This book attempts to provide fundamental theoretical constructs and scientific evidence from cognitive psychologists and computer scientists as well as architects.
