It would surprise many truck enthusiasts v to know that a major company which is known world-wide started with the invention of a crude grain harvesting machine. Yet that is the story of International. From those simple beginnings in the 1830s the company expanded by leaps and bounds and, although two World Wars and a Depression hindered the smooth flow of development, nothing could stop International trucks from becoming a vital part of the road haulage industry throughout the world.
