The Post-Translational Modification of Proteins: Roles in Molecular and Cellular Biology

Summarizes recent advances in the study of post-translational modification reactions of proteins, giving short shrift to phosphorylation/dephosphorylation, which is abundantly covered in other publications. Of the modification reactions that are discussed, some are not found frequently in proteins, but may participate in the various pathological or physiological processes.
