Dreams and Conflicts: The Viewer's Dictatorship

The accompanying catalog to this year's Venice Biennale is a massive compendium of ideas and trends in contemporary art. The Venice Biennale, the world's most respected and influential contemporary art showcase, celebrates its fiftieth International Art Exhibition in 2003. Francesco Bonami, internationally known curator, writer, critic, and the Lewis Manilow Senior Curator of the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago, will be curating the exhibit.

The exhibit, entitled Dreams and Conflicts: The Viewer's Dictatorship, will explore not only art as a personal tool of the artist, but also as the experience of the viewer, and the conflicts and results of this bond.
