Economic Policy Alternatives for the Latin American Crisis

This is an exploration of macroeconomic policy alternatives available to Latin-American policy-makers from both a theoretical and an empirical perspective. The book presents a quantitative framework in which to evaluate the effectiveness of different types of monetary and fiscal policies under the current conditions of inflation, declining growth and debt.
