Economic history of the Jews in England (The Littman library of Jewish civilization)

The author considers the trades and professions in which the Jews participated and shows how, from the seventeenth century to the present day, a process of economic adaptation and pioneering enterprise contributed both to the growth and changing class-structure of the Anglo-Jewish community, and to the development of the British economy.
