Beyond the Books: People, Politics and Librarianship

The goal of this work is to share practical advice on topics common to librarians at various stages in their careers; those new to the profession, those with professional
experience but who are not necessarily interested in
management, those new to management or supervision, and
those new to directorships. The majority of contributors are from academic law libraries; however, many of the topics and principles can be applied broadly to other academic
library environment.
