A reprint of the 1932 foray into Chinese philosophy. The author puts forward that Chinese philosophy is rhetorical and imaginative rather than logical in its appeal. Its methods are those in some respects of poetry, in other of journalism and political oratory. The Chinese philosopher's aim was to establish a connection between his own opinions and a set of accepted ideas.
