From Day to Day: Young Scholar's Pocket Encyclopedia : 5704 (1943-1944)

Each compact volume is a treasury of laws and customs, quotations from Tanach, Midrash, Talmud and other sources. These are reprints of students' calendars first published in 5703 and 5704 (1942 - 1944). The children's equivalent of HaYom Yom, each day is accompanied by a halacha when appropriate, a quote, and frequently (in the first volume) with a question on Torah. So broad and complete is their content that these little books are as fascinating and illuminating, for both youngsters and adults, today as they were over fifty years ago.
