Spanish for Teachers: Applied Linguistics

This book presents the results of some fifteen years of linguistic and methodological research designed specifically to test the practical classroom consequences of new formulations of old problems. Two objectives: First what experienced teachers in five National Defense Education Act institutes defined as their major sources of difficulty, and second, what in extensive classroom experimentation has shown to be a definite promise of improvement in teaching and learning Spanish.
