Always an Olivia: A Remarkable Family History

During the Inquistion in fifteenth-century Spain, when a Jewish family flees to Portugal, then to Venice, their young daughter is captured by Barbary pirates, who attempt to ransom her in North Africa, but with the help of the military, she escapes to the Geechee Islands near Georgia, where her children marry into families of African descent.
