This is a short and easy to understand introduction to reading the Bible. It discusses the various kinds of writing found in the Bible -- such as history, poetry, wisdom literature, gospels, epistles -- in order to help the reader better appreciate and understand them. The book does not presuppose any background in scripture studies on the part of the reader.
