About the Author

Clarence Underwood, Jr., Ph.D., former college athletics administrator, is the author of three books, including The Student Athlete - Eligibility and Academic Intergrity and How to Go Undefeated in Your College Career. He spent 30 dedicated years providing leadership to improve intercollegiate athletics at Michigan State University and the Big Ten Conference. He retired as MSU athletics director in 2002 but continues to work in youth programs and lives in East Lansing, Michigan, with his wife, Noreese.
