McDougal Littell Literature and Language: English and World Literature, Annotated Teacher's Edition

Literature and Language, an entirely new kind of textbook, was developed with two major goals in mind. First, to motivate students -- helping them to see what most English teachers already know: that reading literature can be fun, that discussing literature can be stimulating, and that writing about what is read can be meaningful and satisfying. Second, using literature as a base, to integrate the language arts in a way that makes sense to both students and teachers.
