Casper and the Rainbow Bird

"Casper and the Rainbow Bird" is the story of a young crow who was finally allowed one day to fly into town by himself, with his father's warning to be careful. When he got there, he met a beautiful rainbow bird that lived in a cage. This story, vividly illustrated by Yutaka Sugita, is about their friendship and their adventure.Yutaka Sugita is a Japanese artist whose amazing pictures and totally original use of color have brought him international fame. Expressing his aims as a children's illustrator, he said, "With my books I want to make children happy and so help them experience something that they will remember and treasure. I would like to create something which makes everyone that reads it feel warm inside. When they open one of my books I hope they will smile."
