World Geography and You/Book 1

World Geography and You is a student textbook / workbook for students from upper elementary to middle school age. There are four units, each with several chapters that include a few pages of text followed by a few pages of review exercises. The exercises include such activities as matching, fill in the blank, true/false, etc. The four units cover The United States and Canada, Latin America, Western Europe, and Eastern Europe, Russia and its Neighbors. Nearly every page is accompanied by photos, graphs, maps, and other graphics. A glossary provides definitions for many of the terms used in the book. With fairly simple readings and exercises, the book would also be appropriate for students with learning difficulties, or students learning English as a second language.
