Paul Klee

Paul Klee's (1879-1940) work is difficult to classify. He worked in many techniques using a whole range of media - oil, watercolor, ink, etching, pastel and combinations of these. His works were usually small scale and his fragile, delicate style often drew from poetry, music and dreams.
