A visually sumptuous presentation of the famous - and very rare Fabergé Eggs, those being the bejeweled artworks produced under the supervision of Peter Carl Fabergé between 1885 and 1917. 57 of these survive today, though there may have been as many as 69 - of which 50 (43 surviving) were made for the Russian Tsars Alexander III and Nicholas II as Easter gifts for their wives and mothers. The color photography by Stein and line art by Gershey herein are extraordinarily enchanting, imho. Ships in a stout, protective box, of course - not a bag. Leph2
