First published in 1919 in German, this English translation brings Pieper's great commentary to a new generation. "Isaiah II" is a compendium of the Gospel of Salvation. The author ranges over the Old and the New Testaments, from Genesis to the Revelation of St. John, and shows how God's plan of salvation dominates all of history, not only the history of Israel, but the history of all mankind.
