The Making of Oliver Stone's Heaven and Earth

Written and directed by three-time Academy Award-winner Oliver Stone, "Heaven and Earth" is a major motion picture from Warner Bros, scheduled for release in January 1994. Inspired bv the autobiographical books of Le Ly Hayslip, the film is the epic story of a remarkable Vietnamese woman, her family, and a country torn apart by the ravages of war. This book contains a narrative based on the screenplay, 120 photographs, and a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the movie. A contribution by D Le Ly Hayslip, movingily recounts the experience of having one's past rebuilt and re-enacted.
