Mechanical Ventilation

Is a monograph on the ventilator management of the critically ill adult patient. It is intended to be used as an educational tool by health care practitioners involved in caring for patients who require mechanical ventilatory support. It is assumed that the reader already has a knowledge of respiratory anatomy and physiology, pulmonary diseases and arterial blood gas interpretation, although some of these areas are briefly reviewed in the text.
