Ephesians: Power and Magic : The Concept of Power in Ephesians in Light of Its Historical Setting

Through a study of the religious traditions of western Asia Minor and an analysis of the text of Ephesians, this study uncovers the motivation for the emphasis on the power of God and the supernatural powers of evil, and illuminates the meaning of this power-motif for its first-century AD readers.
