Reynolds made a bad enemy when he broke Tate Hurley's jaw. Hurley had a reputation of being as fast with a gun as he was slow to let go of a grudge. Three years later, Reynolds came back to find Hurley running the show as top lawman with a mean bunch of deputies to back him up.
